We've stayed at the Silver Club - Sparks many times. The rooms are always very clean and neat and serve our needs well. It is not a bells and whistles type of hotel but provides all needs unless you want fanfare and fancy. Staff is for the most part friendly and efficient. The hotel maids are always bright and cheerful. The rooms could be de-smoked better and especially the hallways. I will stay there many more times in the future and appreciate the overall experience.

If you want to get lost in the throng don't come to the Silver Club. The neighborhood has a home-town feel with it's quaint decor. The neighboring shops and cafes welcome you and there is even a movie theater within walking distance. Once you enter the premises it's easy to forget that the sprawl of the Reno/Sparks area even exists. The staff pay special attention to your needs. The casino personel are friendly and informative with tips about gaming that make it fun to play. There are other places to visit in the area but start here. You will find yourself coming back again and again.

I was apprehensive about staying at this hotel, but I found the hotel clean and the personnel courteous. The Restaurant in the Casino had an awesome house salad to die for. I enjoyed the Casino because it was just a perfect size, not overwhelming. Even won a little.

Well, this is a property that is stuck in the 70s. The hotel is adequate after an all-nighter. Strictly a place to go to sleep. Beds were worn, televisions were not very good. There is an overall feel of nastiness in the place. The hotel has certainly seen better days. I stayed there three or four days ... ever tried to find a place on the weekend once you're there? Anyway, the casino is the same that it's been for ages. It's okay. It's tight ... and it's extremely smoky. I don't know, but I would guess this is a place that the locals might frequent.

If you want a nostalgia trip ... stay here. If you don't, stay out of the place.
