Stayed at the El Dorado after many stays at the Silver Legacy and were blown away by our accomodations and service at the hotel. Truly enjoyed our stay and will be back there next year!

ROOMS WERE OVER PRICED BEING ON THE SMALL SIZE. THERE WERE NO DISCOUNT COUPONS FOR FOOD NOR ANY LITERATURE PROVIDED TELLING OF THE CASINO OR AREA ACTIVITIES. THE HOTAL DECOR WAS NICE AND CLEAN.

we like to stay at the Elorado whenever we come to Reno if we can. Our last visit we had a spa suite reserved. We arrived a day earlier than we planned, and had no problem getting a room, at a very reasonable price.
We talked about maybe staying in the spa suite on our next visit.
We also love the Brew Brothers Pub. I ALWAYS get my favorite when we go:Chicken fried steak. It's the BEST!!!

While they've got a nice hotel, their slot club is a RIPOFF. The first time you stay there, they'll give you a lot of comps; but if you ever return they want you to make up for it by playing twice as long before they'll give you anything.

I even asked their slot host, "You mean to tell me that I can go down the street and get comped for my play; but if I stay here I *won't* get comped on my play?" - She said, "Yes, that's about the size of it" so I said, "Fine - in that case I'll take your money and leave" (I was up by about $100 at that point)

I went down to the Hilton where they comped me for my room and gave me a nice steak dinner to boot, for the same amount of play that would have earned me nothing at the Eldo.

My wife and I spent four days and nights and the ElDorado and loved every minute of it. Upon check-in my wife mentioned that this was an early anniversary gift to each other and the receptionist upgraded our room, which pleasent suprise to us. Great rooms, great resturants, very helpful staff, makes for a very pleasent vacation. And with the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus joined together you didn't have to worry about going outside at night or into bad weather. Can't wait to go back this year. Would recommend this hotel/casino to anyone.

One of the nicer hotels on the Reno strip, the Eldorado is a decent place to stay. While it lacks the class and atmosphere of the adjoining Silver Legacy, the Eldorado still has a lot going for it. A great location on the strip, close to the best hotels on either side of the railroad tracks. Table games are numerous, especially blackjack... if you're a low-roller, though, I don't recall ever seeing table limits below $10. FYI, you can usually book this hotel for a great rate on Hotwire... if they list a 4-star hotel in the $30-40 range it is probably the Eldorado.

Nice Hotel and Great restraunts. The 2 things that sell the hotel are the great prices and amazing location. The restraunts are good and payoffs great. P.S. If anyone needs to know about hotels and entertainment in nevada E-mail Kenne992@aol.com

Stayed at this hotel in October of 2001. The room was nice. Liked how it was connected to the two other casinos. That made it easy to get around witout going outside. We booked our reservation thru Travelworm.com and recieved an ecellent rate. when we got to the hotel they did not have our reservation but allowed us to stay for the rate. I was not happy with the fact that when we decided to stay an extra night, yehy would not give us the same rate. Being that it was during mid week, you would have thought they would have wanted us in the room and playing inside their casino instead of leaving liek we ended up doing. Besides that, i would recomend this place.

I was disappointed in the service I received from the front desk staff at the Eldorado. I had two rooms with some friends and we were up in the casino until 5:30AM. Since we were checking out the next day, I asked Susie at the front desk if we could get a late checkout. She offered us a 1 hour extension but we really wanted two. Her comment was that she wouldn't offer us that unless we paid for another 1/2 night. I again asked her to give us the time without a charge and she rudely said, "I'm not going to lose revenue on a room." (One hour wasn't going to cost them revenue.) I then asked to speak with the manager and she smiled and said, "I am the manager" as if to say she won and their wasn't anything I could do about it. The rooms are decent, clean but somewhat small. The casino is nice and the staff was friendly enough but there was nothing exceptional about either. The hotel is within easy walking distance to other casinos so you can't beat the location.

The rooms are nice, the beds are very comfortable, the views are good. it is right in the center of downtown Reno, connected to Silver Legacy and Circus Circus. You never need to go outside, everything is right there.

I have stayed at the El Dorado several times. Its a nice hotel and casino- its just about what you'd expect in Reno, with slightly nicer amenities. Definitely a nice place to stay.
