Great Pool and Spa area. Fabulous food and friendly resort. Rooms are beautiful with fantastic views. My kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools.

This is the BEST place in Reno!
They have got it all! Clean, roomy rooms, fun glass elevators, good selection of slots and some smoke-free too! I loved the views on the skywalk, the sushi was all you can eat, and so fresh! I even won money when somebody hit a special jackpot, everyone else won $25, how cool! My friends and hung out at the pool after our massages. Definitely a good value! REally friendly people too.

Atlantis treats its high rollers well
My wife and I had a very good time at Atlantis in April 06. We spend a lot of time on the slots but the odds seem quite good and the perks: room comps, meal comps and drinks are generous. George Brazil, the VIP manager,is very accomodating and professional. We'll be back.

Black Jack Dealer was rude!
I have never been treated so poorly as I was at the Atlantis Casino. A female black jack dealer was completely rude to me, unprovoked. She was so rude that the other people at the table were asking her what the problem was. Her response was that I didn't have to play at her table. Wow, what hospitality! I mentioned this experience to the pit boss, and I also sent a letter to the hotel. Nothing was done... Do not expect friendly people at this hotel!

HELP.....BEFORE I CHECKED OUT, ACTUALLY ON WED NIGHT I CONTACTED FRONT DESK MANAGER ABOUT MY BILL.
I STAYED FOUR NIGHTS. MONDAY THE 6TH, AT 55.99, TUE, WED AND THURS AT 43.10 EACH. SOME LOCAL PHONE CALLS.
I WAS CHARGED, 55.99, 43.10, 43.10, THEN 239.00 AND AFTER THE MANAGER AGREED IT TO BE TOTALLY INCORRECT AND THAT HE WOULD STRAIGHTEN IT OUT IMMEDIATELY, YOU CHARGED ME AN ADDITIONAL 105.00.
NOW MY CREDIT CARD, MASTERCARD IS TOTALLY MESSED UP.
MASTERCARD HAS STOPPED ALL CHARGES TO MY CARD.
POOR WAY TO RUN BUSINESS.
I WAS GUARANTEED THIS WOULD BE RESOLVED, THEN YOU WENT AND CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 105.00....WONDERFUL.
MY BILL SHOULD BE....55.99, PLUS 3 x 43.10, PLUS SOME LOCAL PHONE CALLS.
PLEASE HANDLE THIS IMMEDIATELY.
MASTERCARD IS AWAITING YOUR CALL.

Found the staff very freindly and willing to look after any concerns or questions I had.The rooms are quite nice but some could use updating,casino floor staff and cocktail waitress very nice but sometimes seem short staffed.Scot at VIP service is a credit to the hotel! Overal I feel the hotel and service I get there is as good or better than other casinos in Reno.

Great location! Close to shopping and easy to get in and out with lots of free parking. The staff is the friendliest of any hotel I've stayed in and they relly care about their guests. The rooms have recently been remodeled and are a great value! The spa and salon are top notch and the gaming action is better than Vegas. I can't say enough about this place! I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a first class resort in Reno. They claim to be Every Player's Paradise and they really are!

Last year in October we (my wife and I)received an e-mail from the Atlantis with a special rate. We decided to take them up on their special rate and booked one with them to see if we liked their hotel. We both found the whole experiance very pleasureable. We arrived about four hours earlier than their check-in was, but to our suprise we were able to check right in. All the employees were very helpful if we had a question. Can't say enough good about this hotel and casino. Would recommend it to anyone!

The Atlantis Hotel and Casino used to be really friendly and the customer service was superb ... however, for the past couple of years, I've found just the opposite to be true.
Service is minimal at best. I had a prepaid reservation made months in advance. When I arrived at the hotel, the rooms were all occupied. I was pointed down the street to another hotel. No offer of a taxi was made and no apologies were made.
The location is way down Virginia Street ... which isn't necessarily bad, if you're going to do something but gamble. However, on the weekends, the parking is absolutely atrocious.
In any case, I don't know if the management has changed or what, but the Atlantis is certainly no indicative of Reno Nevada casinos.

I had reservations for a tower room for a one night stay at Atlantis. When I got there, I was told that all they had was a motorlodge room available. I was angry and inquired about how this could be? But, the inconsiderate and rude registration staff member did not care and was annoyed that I had the nerve to even ask anything. Overall, the service was more than lacking, the room was disgusting and smelly, the location is far from the strip and no one should pay for this type experience. Atlantis sucks!

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms. There are 2 pools - one inside, one outside, which are not what I would consider "small". Yes, it's a ways out of town, but there are 2 truly fine restaurants, plus a buffet, a coffee-shop-type place, and numerous snack bars so it's pretty self-contained. The casino isn't the size of the Reno Hilton's, to be sure, but it's really quite good-sized. Table games had good odds (single-deck blackjack too). Near the Peppermill, very close to the airport. Never had a problem with reservations being rude or misleading, personally - I guess your results may vary, though.

My boss is always complementing this hotel on how wonderful it is.I thought differently. While the staff at the front desk and in the casino were very friendly, the people who take reservations are very rude and misleading. I spend the weekend there this summer. I was very excited to go because it was my 21st birthday and this was my first trip to Reno where I could gamble. Well I paid about $100 a night for the MOTORLODGE. When I made the reservations, they told me I would have a tower room. When I got there they pointed me towards the Motor Lodge, because that is what I paid for. This is what made my whole opinion about this place. They lied to me, I could have gotten a tower room at one of the hotels downtown for the same price, maybe even cheaper!
The pool, spa and casino are very small, and is about a 5 to 10 minute drive downtown. When I go to Reno next, I will be staying at a downtown casino/hotel!
